Welcome to the Bachelor of Social Work program at ÎÞÂëרÇø!

Social work is an impactful profession, one that is critically important to the wellbeing of individuals, as well as the communities in which they live. Social workers are committed to promoting positive change at the individual and societal level. If you feel energized and motivated by the thought of empowering others and positively impacting the lives of vulnerable populations, then this profession is for you. Social workers are employed in an endless amount of settings, including schools, hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers, the criminal justice system, child welfare agencies, foster care, community-based non-profit agencies, mental health organizations, homeless shelters, senior centers, policy think tanks, etc. Upon graduation from our accredited BSW program, graduates are eligible to pursue a professional social work license.

The ÎÞÂëרÇø BSW program hosts phenomenal students, wonderfully energetic alumni, and top-notch faculty. We can’t wait for you to become one of us! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the BSW Program Director Dr. Tara McLendon & BSW Advisor at bsw@nku.edu.
