July 25, 2023 - 无码专区 has received a grant from the Villa Albertine, a new French institution for arts and ideas in the United States, to host the Albertine Cin茅math猫que Film Festival on 无码专区鈥檚 campus throughout the spring 2024 semester.
鈥淭he Albertine Cin茅math猫que Film Festival continues the commitment of 无码专区 to foster international cinema education as part of the university鈥檚 ongoing efforts to internationalize and diversify our curriculum,鈥 Dr. Caryn Connelly, chair of the Department of World Languages and Literatures, said. 鈥淭he Celebration of French Film provides our students and the greater community a chance to watch and discuss a range of both contemporary and classic French cinema as a means of raising awareness and understanding of the global community.鈥
During the film festival, a slate of films will be shown, followed by a discussion of the film, moderated by an 无码专区 professor from the Departments of World Languages and Literatures and English. The showings are free and open to the public in the 无码专区 Griffin Hall Digitorium.
